ποΈ Podcast | π² Follow us on X | π¨ Past Editions | ποΈ TAO Times
Good Morning βοΈ
Markets might be bleeding, but the alpha keeps flowing. From new tools to emerging agent trends, there's plenty to unpack this week.
This Week:
NVIDIA unveils $3,000 desktop AI supercomputer
Aiccelerate DAO launches with powerhouse advisory board
Key trend: zero-person protocols and AI-focused interfaces emerge
New tools roundup for tracking the agent landscape
Fresh podcast episode with Kel on market psychology
Must-read analyses from leading crypto x AI researchers
Now let's get into the details... ποΈ
Highlights
π₯ NVIDIA announces Project Digits, a $3,000 desktop AI supercomputer, promising to put the equivalent of 1,000 laptops' computing power into a Mac Mini-sized device.
By providing extremely affordable, accessible, high-power AI computing that fits on a desktop, this is a major step toward democratizing AI development and usage.
π₯ The Aiccelerate DAO announced its launch on daos.fun, with an impressive roster of advisors from major crypto and AI organizations, including leadership from Virtuals, AI16z, and Coinbase Ventures. The initiative aims to become a multi-ecosystem Crypto x AI index through investment and development activities and their first project being a research-focused AI agent.
We are very excited to join the DAO and provide our insights and support distribution efforts!
π₯ We've analyzed and curated 2025 predictions from industry leaders at Dragonfly, Multicoin Capital, and other prominent analysts. These key themes emerged consistently:
Zero-person agentic protocols set to explode
AI becomes the primary interface for internet interaction, disrupting traditional SaaS
Emergence of agentic interoperability standards and swarm capabilities
AI agents gain DeFi autonomy (credit access, trading, yield generation)
Voice AI reduces smartphone dependence
Growing divide between AI orchestrators and the orchestrated
We believe that 2025 is truly the year of the sovereign, high-agency individual, and it is your job to position yourself for the post-AGI world. With all of these AI tools, there has never been a greater opportunity to build and contribute!
Alpha Corner
Emerging Ecosystem: Abstract Chain
π Weβre hearing an increasing number of mentions about Abstract Chain - one to keep an eye on as cygaar (the founder of Abstract Chain) dives into all of these AI open-source frameworks.
How many other Ethereum Layer 2βs do you think will begin to accommodate native AI functionality? We believe that all of them will. Every app, chain, product will be an AI product.
Just a guessβ¦
but I think @AbstractChain becomes one of the leading agent interface platforms.
(I have no intel, never spoken to Cygaar)
This man has been in the weeds contributing to every framework.
Likely no one has a firmer grasp of where this Agent meta is headed thanβ¦ x.com/i/web/status/1β¦

Emerging Trend: AI x Gaming x Social
π The next evolution of virtual worlds is emerging through the fusion of AI agents, gaming, and social platforms. Unlike previous metaverse attempts, this iteration leverages autonomous AI agents with distinct personalities to create dynamic experiences, powered by projects like Hyperfy, ARC Agents, and Virtuals. @cryptopunk7213 wrote a good tweet on this intersection here.
We have been chatting with some gaming teams who are making the push towards AI this year, and we are excited to see what comes out of it. We think that gaming will thematically make a run this year with the glaring improvement in crypto games over the past 6 months. Delphi posted a great thread about gaming here.
Emerging Trend: AI x Metaverse 2.0
π We're watching the convergence of AI agents with virtual worlds, as projects move beyond static environments to create dynamic, agent-driven spaces. Look out for more projects combining AI agents with virtual world creation and tokenized ownership. @defi0xjeff also just published a good overview of this trend here.
Right now this is screaming a top signal but we will patiently wait on the sidelines until something substantive shows itself. We will be selling everything once DJ Khaledβs metaverse land sells for $10 million.
Tools
Finding alpha in the current fast-paced AI meta requires the right tools. Here are three platforms we're using daily:
π οΈ AI Agent Toolkit - Comprehensive directory of AI agent resources, from frameworks and launchpads to tutorials and infrastructure
π οΈ Cookie.fun - Track agent metrics, market caps, and mindshare in real-time
π οΈ Taostats.io - New analytics dashboard for monitoring Bittensor network activity and performance

Project Updates (ai16z)
π ElizaOS has launched on Arbitrum to enable the ELIZA community to create advanced AI agents using Arbitrum's MultiVM architecture and DeFi ecosystem.
π The Akash community is developing a plugin for ElizaOS that will allow AI agents built with Eliza to automatically deploy on the Akash Supercloud's permissionless compute infrastructure.
π Heurist has partnered with ai16zdao to support the Eliza ecosystem by providing serverless AI infrastructure with 12,000+ GPUs globally, free API credits, technical support, and research collaboration opportunities for over 300 Eliza developers.
π ARC and Eliza Labs have formed a strategic partnership to advance AI agent development through shared resources and collaboration, including preferential access to ARC's Gaming SDK, combining LLMs with behavioral models, building simulation environments, and expanding developer education, with initial proofs of concept starting in Q1 2025.
